This week, we’re proud to shine a light on an incredible local organization making a real difference—Elkton Community Kitchen (ECK) 💛
Since 2001, ECK has been serving up more than just meals. Every Friday, they provide a free, hot, nutritious lunch to members of the Elkton community in a safe, welcoming, and compassionate environment at Elkton Presbyterian Church on Main Street.
But their impact doesn’t stop there…
In 2022, they expanded their mission to support foster families by delivering a freshly prepared meal each week—made with love by dedicated volunteers—to help lighten the load for those caring for children in need. 🍽️
Their mission is simple yet powerful:
To nourish both body and spirit through kindness, consistency, and community.
We’re also proud to see them connected with Volunteer Cecil, helping even more people get involved and give back across Cecil County.
