Legacy GED Program
The Legacy Program supports young people who have struggled in traditional school settings by offering a more personalized, flexible pathway to success. Students participate in GED readiness classes designed to build academic confidence and prepare them for all four GED subject tests.
What makes the Legacy Program truly stand out is its commitment to developing the whole person. Alongside academics, students engage in conflict resolution training, life-skills development, and financial literacy curriculum, equipping them with the tools they need to thrive long after earning their diploma.
YES also removes barriers that often stand in the way of a student’s progress. The program provides lunch, transportation, books and materials, and even covers the full cost of GED testing, ensuring every student has what they need to succeed.
And the results speak for themselves — since July, seven Legacy students have earned their GED diploma, opening the door to new education, employment, and personal growth opportunities.
We’re proud to recognize Youth Empowerment Source for their dedication to empowering local youth and strengthening our community.
